Beginner Art Course
This course is thoughtfully designed for beginners, hobby artists, and students with little or
no prior art training. The focus is on building a strong artistic foundation by developing
observation skills, hand control, and an understanding of form, light, and colour.
Students are gradually introduced to drawing, coloring, and basic portrait creation, preparing
them for advanced-level studies.

- Introduction to human face proportions
- Basic facial structure (eyes, nose, lips, ears)
- Light and shadow on the face
- Basic portrait drawing in pencil
- Simple composition principles
- Final guided artwork combining learnt techniques
- Graphite shading techniques
- Creating depth using tonal values
- Introduction to perspective
- Still life compositions with single and multiple objects
- Strong base in drawing and shading
- Understanding of colour and basic painting techniques
- Ability to create basic portraits and still life artworks
- Confidence to move into advanced-level courses
- Understanding colour wheel and colour harmony
- Colour mixing techniques (Oil pastel and Poster color)
- Colour pencil blending, layering, and detailing
